About this event
Join emcee Kennedy Little, F.E.P.’s youth advocacy team member, as she leads you through two hours of music, art, listening, and learning! The goal: to have a good time and raise money for F.E.P.’s important work for vegan food justice!
In the tradition (or viewership!) of telethons, the day’s event will entertain and also reinforce our need for your support of the crucial work we do at F.E.P.
In the first hour, you will have a cooking flavor fest with East and West F.E.P. team members making their favorite vegan soul food and Mexican dishes, meet some bunnies rescued from a laboratory by Save the Buns, experience a digital storytelling of F.E.P. by youth artist Chelsea Velez, and we are thrilled to have the talents of our very own Vegan Programs Team Member jaz boler perform a song with fellow vegan musician Pauly Scott.
Hour two will have you meeting the fuzzy critters that make up the families of the F.E.P. team, a cooking demo of vegan tofu chocolate mousse, a window into the mind of the creative talents of Caiti Rose with Sharktopia, and a reading from Potato Chips and Wine by Dr. Breeze Harper.
Plus there will be giveaways featuring F.E.P. memorabilia and reasons your support makes everything we do at F.E.P. possible!
We hope you will join us for the whole two hours or even just part of it and come ready to laugh, feel inspired, and donate. If you are not able to join us the day of the live event but would still like to donate in support, that option is open as well. Our goal is to raise at least $3,000 – we hope you can help us get there!
