VSDC Movie Watch Party, Discussion, and Vegan Food

Join VSDC for the animal rights/vegan-themed Movie Watch Party on Saturday, October 26, in Fairfax VA. Socializing beforehand and discussion about the movie afterwards is planned. We have gotten permission to screen Rowdy Girl: The Story of a Texas Cattle Rancher Who Went Vegan, a 2023 film that is not yet available for streaming. Showcasing the inspiring work of Renee King-Sonnen, after a spiritual awakening, a former Texas cattle rancher leaves the cruel cycle of animal agriculture and transforms her husband’s beef operation into a sanctuary. The VSDC member hosts’ home in Fairfax has a small home theater that can accommodate around 20 people. This regular event is a fun way to learn, discuss, and meet vegans and vegan-curious people.
