K-Leather Outreach at Last Timbers Home Game - Portland, OR

🦘♥️ Join fellow Animal Rights Collective Portland (ARCPDX) activists for outreach at the last home game for the Timbers on 10/6!! With over 25,000 expected to attend, this is an incredible opportunity to let the public know that TImbers sponsor Adidas continues to kill kangaroos for soccer shoes while Nike, Puma, and New Balance have all switched from K-leather to cruelty-free material. #KangaroosAreNotShoes #AdidasKangarooMassacre 😊 This is a LOW STAKES/HIGH IMPACT law-abiding action. We've done a few of these and have had NO ISSUES and tons of positive feedback from staff and attendees. ✊ ALL HANDS ON DECK! We need enough activists to cover all the entrances at the park so bring a friend or family member. Come for the outreach event, social, or both! ✳️ ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED There will be opportunities for everyone to get involved, whether it’s standing quietly with a sign or handing out outreach to attendees. We will NOT be chanting or speaking on a megaphone. 🐶 Please leave your furry friends at home. 👂 If you are sensitive to loud noises ear plugs are recommended. ☔☀️ This event is RAIN OR SHINE. 🚌 PUBLIC TRANSIT & PARKING: Public transit is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
