First Sunday Bird Watching at Waneka Lake in Lafayette

Let’s get together at the monthly first Sunday Bird Watching event at Waneka Lake in Lafayette. We have a lot of Birders in our group, so let’s join and have fun watching birds locally. They provide a Guide to lead the walks, and break into several groups. There’s lots of parking available at Waneka Lake. Let's meet on the north side of the park by the small building, called the Shack, by the wildlife preserve. That is where the walk starts. If you are late you can walk around the lake and catch up with any of the groups. Beginner birders are invited to experience the fun and discovery of birdwatching. Knowledgeable birdwatchers will be on hand to bring the world of birds alive. No registration required, drop in at any time. Meet at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve, on the north side of Waneka Lake.
