Poetry reading w/Diane, First Friday, and Peaceful Rebel Cheese at MAC!

Join Meetup member Diane Freed as she reads from her new book of poetry and art, "Off the Short Leash", a colorful collection of whimsical poems and thought provoking prose to make us laugh and think about the world around us, for those who love animals, nature and humanity. This will be part of the First Friday Art Walk at Manitou Arts Center. First Friday starts at 5:30 and goes until 8:00. Diane will start her reading at 6:30. Books will be available for purchase at the event for $12. Additionally, Diane is partnering with Peaceful Rebel vegan cheese company (Denver) to have samples of cheese at the event. There will be some cheese available to purchase. If you would like to purchase and take home cheese from Peaceful Rebel, please let Diane know what flavor you would like to order by September 26th through a message on Meetup or through comments for this event. 4 varieties will be available: fabulous olive feta, delightful blue cheese, extra sharp white cheddar and spicy diablo.
