Advocacy Amplified: Five-Part Workshop Series

If you have historically participated in events but have your own ideas, or if you're already an organizer and want to refine your skills, you've come to the right place! Advocacy Amplified is a FREE five-part workshop series designed to provide insight into community organizing and equip advocates like you with the tools to ignite change. Community organizing is a process through which individuals come together to collectively address community issues and concerns that affect them. It involves identifying common goals, building relationships, and mobilizing resources to create positive social change. This can involve various activities such as grassroots campaigns, public education, coalition building, and direct action. Registration deadline is October 2, 2024. Please attend all five sessions taking place on the dates below. October 2, workshop 1: Organizing: People, Power, Change October 9, workshop 2: Crafting a Compelling Public Narrative October 16, workshop 3: Building Power Through Relationships October 23, workshop 4: Creating a Unified Team Structure October 30, workshop 5: Designing People-Powered Campaigns About This Series Advocacy Amplified is a five-part training series to help budding organizers learn and practice fundamentals of community organizing. This collaborative series organized by Mercy For Animals, New Roots Institute, and The Humane League aims to grow the collective power of the animal protection movement. The series is designed as a learning journey; each training will build on the previous one. Therefore, we request that participants plan to attend all five sessions taking place on the dates below.
