About this event
Join us for a panel addressing the EATS Act and the Farm Bill, and the efforts to undermine the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Prop 12 case. At issue is whether states have the autonomy to establish animal welfare regulations in the absence of federal guidelines.
The event is co-sponsored by the GW Animal Legal Education Initiative, the GW Animal Law Alumni Committee, and the GW SALDF chapter. We will have the panel presentation and conversation, and then have an informal networking opportunity (with light snacks) for GW alums, DC area animal law students, and other folks who are interested. All are welcome.
The panelists include:
Christian Lovell, Farm Action Fund
Alicia Pryogski, ALDF
Laurel Palluzi (moderator), LAP Legal LLC
