VSDC Veg Singles Salsa Night

Come dancing with fellow veg singles! We will meet on the lawn of Georgetown Waterfront Park, between 33rd Street and Potomac Street, in NW DC. See the photos below for a map. If you need an address to put in your GPS, use 3300 Water Street NW. Look for Kathryn in a green VSDC t-shirt. Please arrive at 4:30 so we can all introduce ourselves and get to know who is in our group for the night. This will help later when we are mixed in with the general public at the salsa social – you will be able to recognize who the veg singles are and will know exactly who you want to ask to dance! At 5:00 we will join Dancing on the Waterfront, a free public event. You can learn more about Dancing on the Waterfront on their Facebook page. They start off with a free beginner salsa and bachata lesson, so you do not need to have any dance experience to join this event! After the lesson, the DJ plays salsa and bachata music and you are free to dance and chat the night away! The social dance goes until 9pm, but at 8pm Kathryn will lead whoever is hungry over to Chaia Tacos. Chaia is all-vegetarian and has a lot of vegan options. We ask that you please order vegan food as part of any VSDC event. Everyone will pay for their own food directly, so bring your own payment method. There are several buses that go much closer. If you are driving, there is a paid parking garage at 3205 Water Street NW.
