Open Rescues Advocates Meeting - Good-Bye to The Simple Heart? (September 2024) The Simple Heart has been focused on building a movement for open rescue over the last 2 years. However, we have not achieved our intended goals, as open rescue has in fact decreased in both numbers and impact over that time period (and going back as far as 2018). On September 1st, we are kicking off our new strategy to unify the movement by building a coalitional network for open rescue. Join us as The Simple Heart becomes Animal Rights Coalition (ARC) and shifts to a capacity building organization that assists all of those individuals/orgs in doing their work.
