Protest Whole Foods for Selling Frankenchickens

Join Mercy For Animals Chicago volunteers to demand that Whole Foods stop sourcing Frankenchickens—birds selectively bred to grow monstrously large unnaturally fast. We are working hard to expose the truth behind the chicken industry’s continued use of Frankenchickens, pressuring Whole Foods, who pledged to stop sourcing them by 2024, to keep their promise and publish a plan for banning Frankenchickens from their supply chain. We are calling on you to join us at Whole Foods (3 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60654) on Sunday, August 25 at 1pm to inform the public about this issue and tell foods that we will hold them accountable to their promise to stop selling Frankenchickens. We will have a banner, signs, and leaflets to use the day of. Come with yourself and bonus if you can bring a friend! Following the protest at around 2 pm we will head to Washington Square Park for a brief social. Treats will be provided!
