Denver Vegans SUNDAY Potluck Picnic!

Please join us for a potluck picnic on Sunday, August 25! Our usual picnic venue is closed for renovation this month, so we will be trying out a new one: Observatory Park, in the Denver University neighborhood. (From I-25, take the Colorado Blvd exit and go South to Evans Ave. Turn right, and the park is just a few blocks away on your left, between Milwaukee and Fillmore.) The picnic area is in the North section of the park, near the playground. There are several picnic tables and we will also have an 8x8 festival tent that we can shelter under in case of rain. (Please note we'll be gathering at 5:30 , a bit earlier than our usual potluck time). For those who are new to veganism, welcome! Come get to know others in the group and sample some delicious vegan picnic fare! WHAT TO BRING: • Your favorite vegan picnic dish (All vegan please: no meat, bacon, eggs, poultry, fish, dairy or honey) that serves 8 with a recipe card or list of ingredients. If you do not know what to bring, please contact Denver Vegans leadership. • Your own utensils and reusable place setting • There is no fee, but we will have a donation jar if you would like to pitch in a few dollars to help cover the cost of reserving the park. We'll gather at 5:30, and eat at 6:00 . Hope to see you there!
