EA/Animal advocacy vegan BBQ potluck beach day!

Welcome all! This is a crossover event for effective altruism and animal advocacy, open to those with an interest in both or either. We welcome all who are interested in helping animals and try to be strategic in order to help more animals. Some of us work and volunteer in this space and others might be curious about getting more involved. We are keen to meet to meet more folks from the Vancouver community! Please bring some food to share if you can. You don't have to be vegan to attend. We welcome all who have an interest in reducing the suffering of animals and/or working towards their liberation. Please bring only vegan food for this event, though 🙂 Some of us may go swimming, so bring bring suits if you are so inclined. We will have a Frisbee too!
