Empire State Trail Bike Fundraiser #ForTheAnimals

About this event Hey there! How would you like to ride the length (or a specific section) of the Empire State Trail in August 2024 to raise money for The Humane League, awareness for animal welfare, and encourage companies to uphold promises to more ethical practices? My name is Jadyn Ide-Pech. Last summer I participated in a cross country bike ride with the Ulman Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for young adults with cancer. I have always had a love for cycling, whether it be on the road or in the woods, but during this ride I realized my passion for riding with a purpose. Animal welfare has been at the forefront of my values for as long as I can remember; however, I never really knew how to take meaningful action that can have a larger impact. When I heard about the Humane League's mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food and their open-minded, peaceful campaigning strategies, I knew this was an organization that would help me fulfil that drive.
