Dairy Cow Vigil - Gilbert, AZ

Please join us for another Vigil for our Cow friends that endure an unnecessarily cruel life in the dairy industry! Vigil info highlights- We will be singing and playing music for them. We ask you to wear white, or light colored clothing. We will be having a bit of community debriefing/decompressing time together at Dulce Vida afterwards! Please show up on time(early), we will be walking only a few minutes after 7am. It’s early so we can try to beat the heat. It will still be hot. Please come prepared with hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, an umbrella if you can carry it, walking shoes and of course plenty of water! This is a low risk, non violent, peaceful action. If there is police presence you can direct them to your police liaison. Hi all! Vigils are an important type of action that we are trying to keep constant in our community. Vigils offer these animals that suffer in the animal agriculture industries a mere moment of kindness and peace. For most of them, it may be the only act of kindness they ever receive in their life. We bear witness to their suffering so that we may make our voices louder and our stand against animal cruelty and speciesism stronger! We bear witness and offer the sounds of healing music because it’s the very least we can do. We want to show up in loving peaceful unity so they may feel every bit of that energy. These types of actions are emotional, but they deserve to be seen. The truth of their lives deserves a spotlight, not to be hidden and forgotten. Please stay tuned for parking information.
