Dharma Voices for Animals invites you to join Bob Isaacson and Venerable Bhante Sathi for the first virtual Mindfulness and Meditation Sangha for Animal Activists of 2024 on Monday, June 30th from 9 to 10 AM Pacific. You do not need to be an activist or vegan to attend.
Together, we will practice:
Mindfulness Meditation: knowing what our experience is in the present moment.
Metta (Lovingkindness) and Compassion Meditation: for ourselves and the animals who suffer terribly on the way to the plates of those who eat them.
Vipassana Meditation: the primary meditation technique taught by the Buddha involves paying attention to present-moment experiences that lead to clarity, relaxation, and coming into harmony with our experiences.
Bob Isaacson is the President and co-founder of Dharma Voices for Animals and is an authorized lay Buddhist teacher.
Venerable Bhante Sathi is a DVA Board member and Sri Lankan-American monk who teaches Buddhist monastics worldwide.
We are happy to share space with you all.
