Isle of Wight National Animal Rights Day 2024

Hi, Isle of Wight animal lovers, There will be an event to support the 14th annual National Animal Rights Day on 2 June in Appley, by the tower, starting at 11 am. This takes place in conjuction with more than 150 other NARD events around the world on that day. We will be coming together with animal lovers globally to both commemorate some of the harms done to animals and also celebrate our hope for a kinder future. The plan is to have some readings followed by a picnic on the beach (please bring your own vegan food, blankets, etc). For anyone who wants, we will have placards and t-shirts available although, no pressure to hold/wear these. Anyone wishing to commemorate taking part in the proceedings can buy their t-shirts if they want (£12 each with the proceeds going to charity). Any questions, let me know! The date is the date as its animal rights day but time and place can be flexible ● A Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands. ● A Celebration of the progress that is being made towards ending the suffering of animals and bringing forth their freedom.
