About this event
Join us for our first-morning yoga session at Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen!
Open to all skill levels, this micro-event will provide compassionate folks with a fun, positive opportunity to meet new friends, spend time with rescued farm animals, and learn more about our sanctuaries and efforts to protect animals from abuse.
Yoga instructor Michelle Tilden creates a space of safety, love, and non-judgment to provide healing and insight using meditation, yoga, and Reiki. She wishes to bring the community together. Michelleβs yoga class will take place at our beautiful Rainbow Bridge Memorial garden, where peaceful sanctuary sounds & sights will relax you.
Afterward, our Sanctuary Guides will take you on an hour-long guided tour to meet our rescued farm animal residents & learn about our rescue, advocacy, & educational efforts. We invite you to play cornhole on the lawn, stop by the gift shop, & find an assortment of vegan foods in The Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary. (pending opening)
Yoga Class by Michelle Tilden: 11:00am-12:00pm
Sanctuary Tour: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (optional)
All ability levels are welcome. All humans welcome. (13+)
You will be given yoga mats, but you can also bring your own.
Visitors can help us carry out our mission by improving the lives of farm animals, inspiring change in how society views and treats farm animals, and promoting compassionate vegan living.
The Experience Team thanks you!
