Pizzeria Paradiso offers some of the most highly saught after vegan pizza in the District, and for DC Veg Restaurant Week (May 6-12) they will be offering two delicious plant-based specials. Appetizer: Vegan Panzanella Diced sweet red peppers, tomatoes, daikon, zucchini, celery, red onions, w/ a balsamic vinaigrette, all atop a bed of mixed greens Pizza: The Siciliana Special Paradiso tomato sauce, roasted zucchini, roasted eggplant, caper, minced garlic, oregano, vegan mozzarella, red sweet pepper, red onion, topped w/ citrus dressed arugula. You can also order off of the regular menu which includes build-your-own pizzas with plant-based mozzarella (with no upcharge!).
