Summer Health Series in Woodside, Part 3

Join Plant Powered Metro New York in this three-part learning series, Have A Healthy Summer with Plant Powered Nutrition, presented by the Queens Public Library! In this third session, we'll walk through the aisles of a virtual grocery store to learn about the foods that promote health and those that bring about disease. Instructors Aifra Ruiz and Enrica Sacca will introduce you to the finer details of reading labels, to understand what's in our food and how to make healthy choices. And eating well doesn't have to be expensive, so you'll take home budgeting tips to make plant-powered meals achievable for your family. Registration is not required.
