About this event
This talk tracks the justification for, investments in, and scientific literature on octopus farming, the case made against octopus farming, and the subsequent approaches to stop the mass production of octopuses, including policies that have been introduced to preemptively ban farming and/or farmed octopus imports at various levels (primarily U.S. states).
Thank you to the Brooks Institute for Animal Law and Policy for their generous support of this event.
