Killarney Lake Hike and Tacos on Bowen Island

Join us for a hike on Bowen Island. You won't need a car. The 20-min. ferry ride to Bowen Island (Snug Cove) costs $11.70 per passenger, round trip. You can take bus 250 and 257 from downtown to get to Horseshoe Bay. We'll meet at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal at the round benches close to the orca statue in front of the ticket wicket at 9:50 am to catch the 10:15 am ferry. We'll take the 2:55 pm ferry home. Purchase Ferry Ticket first then come meet at the benches by the orca sculpture. If you arrive late we will be in the waiting room Hike: Killarney Lake Time & Elevation: 2 to 3 hours , 73m Difficulty: Easy Distance: 9km Access: Easy, right from the ferry terminal Please wear hiking shoes or runners. If you don't hike or are not very active this might not be the hike for you. We will be hiking at a moderate pace. The scenic hiking trail that wraps around Killarney Lake offers the perfect reason to make a day trip to the peaceful community of Bowen Island.
