About this event

Event description Join Dr. Fabiana Bressan, GFI grantee and Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo, to learn about the potential of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) generated through cellular reprogramming for cultivated meat production. This seminar will explore stem cell biology and the generation of iPSCs, relevant applications, and recent advances in the field. Dr. Bressan will provide perspectives on how this emerging technology can advance animal-free protein production to address the issues of foodborne diseases, industrial animal agriculture, and the meat industry’s ecological footprint.
