VHOT Mushroom Competition

This event is a... Vegan Potluck Zero-waste Mushroom Cooking Competition! Join the Vegan HangOut Team as we explore the versatility of mushrooms! We'll meet in the Seahorse Classroom at Pier 57 - 25 11th Ave, Manhattan at 12pm! Use your creativity and your favorite dish containing mushrooms! The only rules are: everything must be 100% vegan and mushroom is a mandatory ingredient! Everyone will be TASTING your delicious creation and we will all VOTE on the winner! So make individual/small tasting portions (or easy to serve). Your mushroom dish can be sweet, salty, snacks, pie, cupcakes, curry, drinks, etc etc etc! Whatever your mind and cooking skills can create! All competition entries must be present by 1:00. What to bring: your delicious creation and a utensil to serve it with, your own cup, plate/container, and utensils (we're striving for zero waste - for the animals), and a smile!
