He has been Animal Rising's (formally Rebellion) Press Coordinator since early 2022, gaining experience in a leading media spokes role with Just Stop Oil - notably glueing his hand to a microphone whilst live on air in a unique and symbolic example of nonviolent direct action. In his time with Animal Rising, he has overseen its press office during blockbuster protests including its 2022 blockade of the dairy industry, 2023 Grand National disruption, and rescue of lambs from the Sandringham Royal Estate. Over this time he has engaged with nationally-leading journalists and producers, learning what creates a front-page story and sends a newsroom into overdrive.
