About this event

We need your help! Inspire Brands, parent company of Dunkin' and many more brands, promised to end the abuse of caging sensitive and social egg-laying hens, meaning Dunkin' menus will no longer use eggs from an abused caged hen. Dunkin' is failing to fulfill their 100% global cage-free commitment, not reporting progress and still makes a profit from abused hens. These delicate egg-laying hens suffer tremendously in these dirty and cramped cages. As a result, hens have weakened bones and suffer fractures because their mobility is so limited in these small cages. Our student organizers at UCLA invite you to join us on Feb 27th and March 12 at 5:30pm at Dunkin' in Westwood, Los Angeles, for a silent and peaceful demonstration to communicate to Dunkin's leadership team that they are not getting away with this animal abuse. Inspire Brands must fulfill their cage-free commitment globally. Animals do not belong in cages. Can we count on you to join students and local activists to show up #fortheanimals? Please RSVP so we know you will be joining us. After the 30 minute demonstration we are walking over to Tocaya for some free vegan tacos. While tacos last! You are welcome to purchase more tacos after free tacos are gone if you would like. The free tacos go fast! Dunkin' demonstration: 5:30pm to 6pm Tocaya vegan tacos: 6pm to 7pm
