Protest the Sale of Foie Gras at Uchi

Join us at the restaurant chain, Uchi, to protest the exploitation and murder of ducks and geese for foie gras! Animal rights advocates are urging Uchi to ban vile Foie Gras from their menu. Foie Gras production has been outlawed in many countries as well as the state of California and New York City due to the cruel practices used to obtain Foie Gras. Foie Gras is obtained by force-feeding ducks and geese. Workers shove metal or plastic tubes down the animals' throats and pump large amounts of food into their stomachs. Birds suffer from the trauma of repeated force-feedings as well as internal injuries, breathing problems caused by their enlarged livers, and painful injections.
