Vegan milks are better for the animals, our health, and the environment. No one should have to pay a cent more for choosing to have plant milk in their coffee. Cows are typically artificially inseminated every year in order to force them to continue producing milk. Calves are taken away from their mothers so humans can steal their milk. This causes both the mother and baby extreme distress. Male calves are destined to end up in cramped veal crates or barren feedlots where they will be fattened for beef, and females are sentenced to the same sad fate as their mothers.
