About this event

About this event In 2012, Dunkin’ pledged to go cage-free with its eggs–a commitment worth celebrating. Fast forward to 2020, Inspire Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes nearly 32,000 restaurants , acquired Dunkin’. The promise seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle. Despite Inspire’s “sustainability” talk, no progress has been reported. The longer Dunkin’ stalls its cage-free commitment, the longer hens have to endure horrific battery cage conditions. Let’s hold Dunkin’ and Inspire Brands accountable. We will hold banners and hand out informational leaflets at two Dunkin’ locations in the Upper East Side. Join the NYC: Craft Posters against Dunkin’ event if you want a hand in crafting powerful materials. Let’s speak out against the inhumanity of caged conditions for egg-laying hens! 🐔🐮🐷 By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy and the event terms & conditions . Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates. thehumaneleague.org
