Chicken cognition and its implications for welfare with Dr. Michael Pardo

RACE-Approved for 1.0 CE Credits, Course #20-1124238 This lecture will provide an overview of the scientific research on chicken cognition, including but not limited to abilities such as self-control, mathematical reasoning, empathy, social learning, and Machiavellian intelligence. Implications for chicken welfare given current agricultural practices will be discussed.
