Join Us: Become a Changemaker
Welcome to Boston's Changemakers Team Meetings for Farmed Animals! We're a movement committed to making a real impact on the lives of farmed animals and the future of animal advocacy. Our work is guided by The Humane League, and we need you on our team to hold the biggest companies accountable for corporate abuse of farmed animals.
We look forward to seeing you there! Ask for “The Humane League” when you get to Veggie Grill if you can’t find us.
Our monthly gatherings in public veg-friendly spaces engage in planning sessions, strategic training, debriefs, movie screenings, potlucks, and community action. It's not just about discussing change; it's about being part of it.
Our mission is clear - corporate accountability for farmed animals. Join us in meticulous planning, impactful protests, writing influential letters, and personal activist training. Let's hold companies accountable and champion the cause of millions of chickens confined to battery cages.
Changemakers is a name backed by accomplishments. Aligned with The Humane League, a globally recognized organization, we are ready to continue the legacy of animal advocacy in Boston. Our leadership is a blend of seasoned activists and newcomers, creating an inclusive environment where every voice matters.
What sets us apart? Our Changemakers Team is the only group in Boston exclusively committed to The Humane League's corporate accountability campaigns. Join us in making a collective stand against corporate abuse, demanding accountability from those with huge amounts of power.
Our current focus? Holding Dunkin accountable to their commitment to eliminate battery cages for egg-laying hens by 2025. This isn't just a campaign; it's a journey towards tangible change. And yes, it really is that bad on factory farms.
We're looking for everyone at all skill levels - organizers, note-takers, project leaders, recruitment enthusiasts, movie screening aficionados, and passionate protesters. Each member contributes to our collective impact and you will be supported by your team and Sydney, your Northeastern Field Organizer Staff with The Humane League (sfox@thehumaneleague.org).
Ready to make your mark as a Changemaker? The story of animal liberation is ongoing, and your chapter awaits. Secure your spot now by signing up and join our mission to stop the abuse of farmed animals. 🌱🌍✨
🐔🐮🐷 By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community!
The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates. thehumaneleague.org
