About this event

RSVP HERE FOR THE ZOOM LINK: https://action.nonhumanrights.org/a/december-2023-zoom In 2013, the Nonhuman Rights Project filed our first litigation on behalf of Tommy, a chimpanzee imprisoned alone in upstate New York. Now, ten years later, we're honoring Tommy's legacy and continuing our fight for nonhuman animal rights by filing new litigation to secure the freedom of seven chimpanzees imprisoned at the DeYoung Family Zoo in Michigan—the same roadside zoo where Tommy was imprisoned before his passing in 2022. You're invited to join Liddy Stein, the NhRP's Director of Litigation, and Courtney Fern, the NhRP's Director of Government Relations, for a special Zoom conversation reflecting on Tommy's legacy and looking forward to what's next in the case for our new Michigan clients on December 12th, 2023, at 12:00 PM ET. Fill out the form below to register for the event.
