What is AACA? Animal Advocacy Conference Asia (AACA) is annual virtual gathering for those who envision a just world for animals, people, and the planet. AACA provides a virtual pace for advocates from across Asia exchange knowledge and strategies. This year, we focus on highlighting and showcasing Asian-led initiatives and talents. We understand that while local issues in the animal justice movement and strategies to address those issues vary from region to region, it is vital to learn from each other across the region to create cross-regional understanding. We hope that by learning from each other about experiences, strategies, and solutions, we can better prepare ourselves to battle with larger problems in this globalised world. With our commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable animal justice movement in Asia, AACA 2023 will highlight the knowledge and efforts of local advocates, especially those who are historically and currently marginalised. Our primary target audience are Animal advocates (individuals and organizations) and vegans who might be interested in getting more involved in the movement. Even if you are neither an advocate or vegan, you are welcomed to attend the event as long as you're interested in the topics! Through workshops and talks, you will be empowered and equipped with practical skills and relevant knowledge to become more effective advocates for animals. Together, we will create a strong and sustainable animal justice movement in Asia. How much is the ticket? The tickets are all free! We use pay-what-you-can model, so we welcome donations at registration. Your contribution enables us to keep doing what we do - thank you! You can also support our work with donations here.
