Boon Cafe is a family owned Palestinian and Indian Fusion restaurant located on the North side in Norridge. It’s on Montrose Ave just west of Harlem Ave. There is easy street parking and a parking lot. The food will be excellent! It is a vegan healthy and individually home-cooked type food. Our menu is a good cross-section of what they offer! Yes, it is all vegan. All for the price of $21. You will pay CASH at the door. Exact change appreciated. (Don’t worry, it says UNPAID next to everyone’s name, you just can’t see it!) There will be an opportunity to buy some non-alcoholic drinks, so bring some extra money if you want a drink. Coffee and tea is included and will be available. They make a homemade lemonade you can purchase, in addition to latte, soda or milkshakes. We will meet at 7:00 PM and have a social time until 7:30 PM to mingle with your fellow foodies. Please have a bit to eat and don’t come starving, in case the food is delayed. We will be in the whole restaurant. The food will be served buffet style. This is what the menu will be: Salad - House Salad Appetizers - Falafel Bites Veggie Samosa Veggie Spring Rolls Entrees - Grilled Vegetables Chana Chaat Vegan Kefta Yellow Rice Dessert - TBD Drinks - Water, Coffee, Ice Tea, Hot Tea Join us for a fun evening with good conversation and a delicious meal.
