Plantathon 2023: The Art of Prevention

Plant Powered Metro New York is leading a movement for health, empowering people across the region with the knowledge, tools, and support to feel great and prevent and treat chronic disease. Our third annual Plantathon celebration raises essential funds for our mission through 10 inspiring events taking place between November 13-28! What do we do about persistent health disparities in our communities? How can we build greater health equity as we recognize the health struggles of marginalized populations? Meet the powerful voice of Marsha-Gail Davis, MD, MPH , joining us from Georgia to share her medical and artistic perspectives on where to go next. Dr. Davis is a primary care internist and preventionist, triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Preventative Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. She is passionate about examining the ways clinical medicine and preventative health measures can come together to inform health equity solutions within the healthcare system. Plantathon raises essential funds to support Plant Powered Metro New York’s core mission. While all virtual events are accessible at no cost, we encourage you to make a donation! All donations through the end of the year are matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000.
