Open Streets Lyndale Celebration

Join us for Open Streets Lyndale! We need your help in building a community in Minneapolis that is informed about factory farming practices and vegan eating, and interested in removing the barriers to plant-based food. Every little bit counts! Sign up to volunteer here: https://signup.com/go/mkwPbGD We will have a table set up with a spin wheel that has questions about animal agriculture. Passerby stop by to spin the wheel, learn a new fact, and win a candy! Afterwards, we invite them to sign a petition against factory farming in Minnesota. During Open Streets, a section of Lyndale Ave will be open for folks to play, eat, bike, walk, dance, sing, and more. The event is free and family-friendly. Open Streets allows neighbors to experience city streets as public spaces where communities thrive. There will be many other local organizations and vendors for you to peruse after/before your time at the CAA table. There will be snacks, waters, and sunscreen available for volunteers during the event. If passerby have detailed questions about CAA that you can’t answer, you can always refer them to the staff member alongside you at the event. Volunteers help information reach hundreds more people at each event. Thank you for volunteering!
