White Ranch Park Fall Hike

Let’s hike the Belcher Hill - Mustang Trail in White Ranch Park, a 4.6 mile loop with 1,023 feet of elevation gain rated as moderately challenging outside of Golden. All Trails says it takes around 2.5 hours to complete; we’ll go at a moderately fast pace with breaks along the way. We will start hiking at 9:10; there’s limited cell reception so if you’re running late you can try to catch up with the group (we will go clockwise around the loop). Or text me in the morning if needed at 781-690-4550. I recommend bringing 2 liters of water, snacks, sun protection and layers. You’ll want hiking shoes with good tread because the trail can be rocky/slippery. If anyone would like to carpool part of the way, there’s a parking lot just off 93 to leave some cars and carpool the last 20 minutes — leave a note in the comments if you’d like to do that (or carpool the entire way). Option to grab lunch at Sherpa House Nepalese in Golden afterward which has lots of veg options and a lunch buffet.
