About this event
It's time for the 3rd Annual Snout Art (SNART) show! Please mark your calendars for October 1st 10 AM-1 PM!
What's SNART? This project, which started as a way to find enrichment activities for these smart, funny, sentient, mischievous piggos, is a passion of mine, and now many people have also become passionate about SNART as well, as collectors or followers of their work! At the show, the snartists' work will be on display and for sale too. All proceeds always go directly back into the care of our animals. Please come by, see the artwork and meet the snartists. The Doolittle Collective is also making greeting cards and tote bags these days, and welcomes commissions as well!
If you'd like a preview, or would like an art piece put aside for you, check out their gallery here: snoutartsnart.com.
The snartists will be painting around 12:30 if you'd like to come check it out. Of course, there will be animal shmoozing time (10 AM-12 PM) and you will learn a little bit about each of the animals!
Finally, Keith Hughes will be doing a plant-based cooking class, focused on making a couple of easy and delicious lunches, from 1-2:30 PM. The class will show you how to make two wrap-based lunch dishes, one a soy curl salad, a plant-based version of chicken salad, and a Sloppy Jack, a plant-based version of a Sloppy Joe. The price of the class is $10 and includes a bag of Butler's Soy Curls and a can of Jackfruit so you can try the recipes right away at home!

Sign up early for the cooking class! We only have room for 15 people, though we'll maintain a wait-list. If you have questions, please email us at doolittlefarmsanctuary@gmail.com or message through our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/doolittlefarmsanctuary
Please respect the following rules when visiting us:
Our priority is to make sure everyone stays safe during the visit. Please don't feed anyone. Some (that's you, goats and sheep!) can get a little pushy around food, and a little push in general. Please be alert around them. Many of them are friendly, some are moody, but it's their home, so if they aren't in the mood to hang out, please respect that.
And, please leave your companion animals at home.
Oh, and please park on the street....thanks!
Let us know if you have any questions and we're looking forward to seeing you on October 1st!
