Rose's Law Global Week of Action 2023

This year on September 29th marks the fifth anniversary of the rescue of Rose, the chicken who sparked the movement of Rose's Law, an Animal Bill of Rights. In honor of Rose, and trillions of other victims around the planet, we are launching this global week of action where activists will take bold direct action to elevate the urgency and drive the conversation about these 5 basic rights that we demand for all animals: 1. The right to be free - not owned - or to have a guardian acting in their best interest. 2. The right to not be exploited, abused, or killed by humans. 3. The right to have their interests represented in court and protected by the law. 4. The right to a protected home, habitat, or ecosystem. 5. The right to be rescued from situations of distress and exploitation. WHAT: Activists across the globe will organize impactful actions during the week to push Rose's Law.
