Oppose EATS Act- Leafletting and Outreach

About this event Join THL Captains Janani and Shannon at Domino Park, Williamsburg and spread awareness about the harmful EATS act. We will be handing out leaflets and engaging people, encouraging them to call their Senators and Representatives. ⚖️The Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression Act (EATS Act) is in direct response to the passage of Proposition 12 and our movement’s historic win before the Supreme Court of the United States, and would undermine states’ ability to pass laws and ballot measures that prohibit sales of cruel animal products such as caged eggs. The EATS act would also have an effect on wildlife protection laws, child labor laws, laws banning the sale of dogs from puppy mills, laws banning the sale of cosmetics tested on animals, and more. 🐔🐮🐷 By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy .
