About this event
Spend an hour with us to fortify your ability to access a childlike curiosity when faced with opposing views. If you're vegan, you likely spend much of your time with people who don't (yet) see things as you do. This critical difference can create a emotionally charged atmosphere. Let's talk about how to use our inner, curious child to soothe defensiveness and create a space where new ideas can be safely explored.
NOTES FROM YOUR HOSTS
We host these monthly, virtual meetups to support vegans and veg-interested people. While this is not therapy, we both have professional backgrounds in mental health. We apply our expertise to help build a community where we can delve into difficult topics with compassion and trust. We believe this is foundational to a healthy life and vegan advocacy. Our offerings are free to you but not to us. There are costs associated with doing what we do (two websites, tables, zoom, meetup, time, continuing education, etc). If you find value in what we give and are in a position to pitch in, please visit https://pauwproject.com/ and click "Donate". Every little bit helps.
