About this event
The U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law and the Animal Law and Policy Institute at Vermont Law and Graduate School and Koguan School of Law at Shanghai Jiaotong University have partnered on a year-long project to examine the local and global impacts of factory farming. The project involves collaborations between students, faculty, and subject-matter experts from around the world through research seminars and webinars that will result in a legislative proposal.
Panelists in our second webinar will share lessons learned from the U.S.’s failure to regulate the factory farming industry and discuss policy proposals to ensure meaningful legal oversight of industrial animal agriculture in the U.S. and China.
