Charlotte, NC: Protest Cruel Cages at Smashburger!

About this event Smashburger claims they want to “serve food with integrity,” yet it continues to source eggs from hens suffering in filthy cages so small, they can't even spread their wings. As consumer demand for cage-free eggs continues to grow, major corporations are moving away from this inhumane and outdated practice. Join local activists in demanding that Smashburger's parent company, Jollibee, takes animal welfare seriously by committing to stop the abusive practice of confining hens to cruel cages. Join us for a peaceful protest at the Cotswold Village Smashburger on August 13th at 12pm EDT. All materials, including signs, leaflets, and a banner, will be provided.
