Meeting your MP, AJA Practice Session

We’re well into July now, so it’s important we get meeting with our MPs to help stop the federal ag gag Bill C-275!! We know meeting with politicians can feel scary, so we’re running a special MP meeting practice session for AJAers on July 18, 7-8PM ET. This is your opportunity to have a dry-run in a supportive, low-pressure environment. In this Zoom gathering we’ll: Demo how an MP meeting might go Hear from AJAers who’ve already connected and met with their MPs Find out what worked and didn’t work Have 4-person breakout rooms for each person to practice doing a meeting about the ag gag bill with fellow AJAers playing the MPs Do a Q&A following the breakout rooms so people can get guidance on any challenges they had We’ll also talk about how you can get a more veteran AJAer to attend your meeting with you if needed
