Garden and Art Walk at Denver Botanic Gardens

Come check out the plants and flowers as they begin to bloom for the season at Denver Botanic Gardens. (They also have a wonderful gift shop with art, garden stuff, great gift ideas, etc.) There are two art exhibits that will also be up, one by Navajo print/painting artist Melanie Yazzie and the other by Argentinian sculpture artist Tamara Kostianovsky, which could be fun to see — they both incorporate plants and animals into their work. This will be a casual, laid-back event where we will be walking/strolling around seeing the beauty of this haven in the middle of the city. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance here — make sure to select the 1:30pm time slot. (If you’re a member of DBG, entry is free! Membership is $65/year and totally worth it, IMHO.) They have ample parking in the garage; there is also street parking if needed.
