GMF Hike and/or Fern's Brunch (choose your own adventure!)

Hi, all, I'm going to attempt an event with a few options for Sunday: *For folks who want to do an early Sunday hike in Green Mountain Falls, please meet me using the instructions below. *For those of you who want to just do Fern's (located in Cascade off of Hwy 24) for brunch, meet us there at 10:30 (depending on hiking pace, we may be a few after). I am intending for us to be able to sit outside, so please keep that in mind regarding layers, etc. *If you want to do both the hike and brunch, great! You'll be able to indicate which part of the event you'll attend when you RSVP. Please enter "Hike", "Fern's" or "Both" when prompted. About the hike: the Thomas Trail loop is one of my favorite area hikes--it's a decent work-out, has great views, and passes by a few lovely waterfalls. It take about 1.5 hours to complete. **Please note, there are some steeper sections to this trail, including some steady inclines and then a few steep spots going down. There is a small creek crossing that could include stepping on some slick rocks. All Trails has it as "moderately challenging". More about the trail: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/thomas-trail I'm proposing meeting at 8:30 in GMF on the southeast side of the pond near the small white historic building, to start hiking by 8:45. It takes about 1.5 hours to hike depending on the pace--I think we could plan to be to Fern's by 10:30ish.
