Food companies, like Whataburger, have the power to eliminate cages from their supply chains. It starts with a promise—and with putting that promise into practice. 12 years ago, Whataburger said it would start to end animal cruelty in its egg supply chain. But today, there's no evidence of any commitment to this promise on the Whataburger website.
