About this event
This Earth Day, letβs shed a light on the source of a third of all global GHG emissions that doesn't get talked about enough: food systems. Global leaders finally need to address the role of food in climate action and recognise that a shift to more plant-based food systems is essential to attaining the Paris climate targets. This should also be reflected concretely in the food served at climate change conferences and events (including the ones organised by climate activists). Organisers can no longer ignore the impact of their own catering choices. Hear from youth leaders around the world as they discuss case studies and the importance of aligning catering with a greener-by-default approach that prefers using plant-based defaults to align with climate targets.
