In this experiential session, you will learn,
*about the nature of mindfulness and meditation practices
*about the benefits of meditation for curbing burnout, reducing stress, and managing compassion fatigue specifically for activists
*simple meditation techniques you can use for an at-home practice
You will be guided in a lengthy mindfulness meditation which ends with a positive visualization journey for imagining and manifesting animal liberation.
No experience required. Michele Granberg, MA, Mindset Coach, meditation teacher and AAM Team Member/Mentor, has been meditating for 35 years and teaching for 25 years. She trained with Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn.
Prepare your space for sitting comfortably where it is quiet, private and you won't be disturbed. Headphones or earbuds are recommended.
