About this event

Have you ever wondered why vegans don't eat eggs? Join Amy and Steve as they discuss why they don't eat eggs even from the beloved hens they rescue. This workshop will cover some of the terms used by the egg industry, standard practices in various farming and backyard chicken/egg scenarios, the health issues chickens face associated with egg laying, and the ethical considerations of using another species as a food source. A cooking demonstration using egg replacements and sampling of vegan eggless recipes will follow the discussion. This event will be in person AND available online.
