About this event
Give one day for rescued farm animals!
Last year, Governor Jared Polis declared March 20th as COLORADO MEAT OUT DAY! This year, we hope the tradition will continue and will host a celebration of rescued animal snuggles and all kinds of glorious animal-free foods and beverages. And because we want to see as many of you as possible, we are offering $5 off our normal ticket price!
Through the last ten years, we’ve been able to introduce so many of you to the magic of cows, goats, chickens, sheeps, and more…their character, personalities, feelings, joys and pains. You’ve shared our laughter and tears, our losses and our new babies.
Maybe you never considered what the animals on our plates were like before seeing our videos, hearing our stories, or meeting them in person.
Maybe you’re already a vegan or vegetarian, maybe you’ve never considered taking animals off your plate, maybe you’ve wanted to but it seems so complicated.
Maybe you just need some cuddles and silliness from someone of our more than 20 species of rescued animals.
We’ve planned a great, hopefully inspirational day with all of you in mind. Vegan Van will be on site slinging their delicious, comforting, elevated fast food. Wildflour Bakehouse, serving beautifully and locally crafted baked goods, pastries and donuts. Crummies, sampling their meat-free products with take-home options to help make your Colorado Meat Out day easy and yummy. And many more!
